In this Olive Oil Experience, you will visit Olive Oil artisan producers in the Eastern Algarve. During 1hour discover the olive tree culture, the olive oil production process and the origins of our mill, which dates back to roman times. Discover all the process, from the moment of picking the olives by hand in autumn and immediately take them to the press where they are ground to paste in a granite stone mill. The oil is then extracted with state of the art modern equipment, filtered and stored in stainless steel containers until it is bottled.The result is an olive oil of the highest quality.
Discover different varieties perfectly adapted to the Mediterranean climate of the Algarve. Each one has very distinct characteristics, producing oils that due to their differences of fruitiness, bitterness and pepperiness are perfect for harmonizing culinary specialties.
