With its 300 days of sunshine a year, and over 100 beaches, its no wonder the Algarve makes such a perfect holiday destination. Just 20 minutes from the airport, use Martinhal Quinta as a base to explore all the magnificent Golf Courses, with the green umbrella pines and the tranquility of lakes.

The Laranjal Golf Course is one of the newer courses and is located on the edge of the close to Quinta do Lago Resort in the Algarve. The latest course in the Almancil area has many lakes and obstacles. The narrow fairways of the Laranjal Golf Courses and well defended greens require good concentration and club accuracy to navigate the testing course laid down over a rolling and well defined topography. The Laranjal course has five par 5s, eight par 4s, five par 3s set amongst a mixture of pines, cork oaks and orange trees. To add to the challenge and vista there are five beautiful lakes.

The Royal Golf Course is home to the almost island green of the 9th and the famous 16th, with cliff-top carryover, one of the most celebrated golfing images in the world, which has become the veritable symbol of golf in the Algarve.
